WRITER
As I wrote in the “about” section, I once had grand ambitions to be a writer (maybe I still do). I’ve written op-ed pieces for Talkhouse, Magnet, and OPB Portland (NPR). Jerad Walker (OPB Portland) read my long-winded touring novella called, “Don’t Look Down,” and thought it would be a good idea to let me write some think pieces for the OPB / NPR online edition. Those were some of the most inspiring and best moments of my life — it opened up a creative spirit in me that I didn’t know existed. Thanks Jerad! And now, I guess I’ll eventually turn to Substack.
